House Is A Feeling

I’m sure many of you have seen this, but here goes, just in case you haven’t, here’s the lineup for Bodytonic’s dance tent at Electric Picnic:

The word is that Bodytonic’s tent is a lot smaller this year, like it was at the very first Electric Picnic. There’s no doubt with the focus mainly on bringing over Stereotonic style US house and techno acts, this is a lineup that is really exciting devotees of the temporarily defunct Friday night club. The list above is choc full of “pioneers” and “legends”, you know, the acts non-dance fans have never heard of!

Personally I’d be most interested in seeing Ame and maybe Dixon, neither of whom I’ve seen before, it would be cool if they get sets that are longer than an hour.

Also another bit of worthy information for people who like the more German end of dance music is that it seems Garden Party will house the Pogo DJs this year, and generally that’ll be where those sort of acts play for Bodytonic too. So you know where you heard it first. Not that I don’t fully expect most people to go to both! Backlash DJs are down to play at Electric Picnic too this year, have no idea if I’ll be playing yet, but you never know!
